In this step you will measure a few features. At this point you will only measure a few basic features that will allows us to create some constructed features and dimensions. You might want to review "Using Your Multi Gage Arm" before proceeding.
Measure the following features:
Two Points - Measure two points on any surface as indicated in the "Measured Point" topic. In the following steps, you will create a Distance Dimension and a Mid Point between the points.
One Circle - Measure a circle around any circular feature as indicated in the "Measured Circle" topic. Circles require measurement of a reference plane. Most features have dimensions that are created based on the characteristics of the feature. In the case of a circle, roundness is evaluated.
Two Lines - Measure two lines along the edge of a two surfaces as indicated in the "Measured Line" topic. Lines require measurement of a reference plane. In the following steps, you will create an Angle Dimension between the two lines as well as a point from the Intersection of the two lines.
